thank you Tony Blair for destroying the UK police force, and removing protection for the public from criminals.
As reported in the press yesterday, now only 1 police station in 8 is open all hours.
If you happen to live in one of these counties, tough luck, there are no cop shops open 24/7.
The figure in brackets is the number of police stations:
Cambridgeshire 0 (16)
Cheshire 0 (16)
Cumbria 0 (25)
Derbyshire 0 (24)
Devon and Cornwall 0 (62)
Durham 0 (36)
Gloucestershire 0 (33)
Hertfordshire 0 (28)
Kent 0 (27)
Leicestershire 0 (22)
Lincoln shire 0 (39)
Norfolk 0 (38)
Northamptonshire 0 (11)
North Wales 0 (23)
Suffolk 0 (22)
Surrey 0 (12)
West Mercia 0 (47)
Wiltshire 0 (25)
These counties aren't much better, they have only 1 cop shop open:
Dorset, Humberside, Lancashire, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, Sussex.
But it is entirely possible, within budgets, to have a good ratio of police stations open for access 24/7, e.g:
Essex 12 (47)
Northumbria 14 (38)
It is now entirely possible to be beaten to death by muggers outside an occupied police station, and for no one to come out and give you assistance because it's 'after hours'.
And this has already happened.
Businessman Stephen Langton was beaten to death last month yards from the police station in Henley, Oxon. He was shouting for help all the time but no one came out.
His body was found later by a returning patrol car.
The government says dial 999 for assistance.
The Police Federation says: many 'response teams' on duty to deal with 999 and other calls are 'understaffed, over-worked, chasing targets rather than criminals and sinking in bureaucracy.'
So that's it folks.
Take up crime at night. Piece of cake. You ain't going to be caught.
Now where's my jemmy, striped jersey and bag with Swag on it?
No lack of patrol cars in my county booking bikers for minor traffic offences.
Nice to know Blair and co have got the balance right, isn't it?
thank you Tony Blair for destroying the UK police force, and removing protection for the public from criminals.

returning from dropping my Mrs off at work the other night I came across a guy flat out p1ssed on a pedestrian crossing, He had another with him also p1ssed, I'm wouldn't stop but did stop at Camborne nick (200 yds away) LOCKED ! at 1940 hrs, 11 cars outside, Rang the bell --- No answer Rang the non urgent No --- No answer.
I want my portion of my council tax back that goes towards policing.
4 cars done over in the next street to mine 2 nights ago including my mates, D&C police answer to him "nothing we can do mate"
OK I know ! My lads a cop in Manchester, He's demoralised & I have a little insight to their job via mine but ffs D&C there's fookin cobwebs on some of your cars !!!
Bet your sweet ass if you give a chav a scudding if you catch him on your property doing wrong you'll be in deeper shite than him.
PS. Tony Blair ---- this is happening on your watch.
PPS !! Shag a royal & you'll get loadsa cops to see you to your car after a night out in a club !!!
On the news tonight ---
the home office has fcuked up again, The criminal records bureau has stacked up the criminal records of, Rapists, paedophiles, & murderers whose crimes were committed abroad then their files sent to UK after doing their time & returning here. No one knew of their crimes & their files gathered dust unregistered or disseminated to police forces.
How far has the rot gone ? To the top I reckon.
I pay taxes on all my income as do all us hard working mugs, Where IS the money going ? I'm not in a minority, We all pay tax in so many ways so WHERE IS IT GOING ?? not to fund a properly functioning home office that's for sure, Is the UK so broke it can't afford a correctly functioning home office ?
It's gone down to grass roots level, I know that from my job, On Sunday night about 20 matelots went off to a hot place to relieve their oppos, The air trooping centre had no overnight accommodation so they asked for a hotel, NOPE ! The MOD can't afford it so they delayed their departure from where I work to arrive just in time for their flight. Good for morale eh ??
We are the air stations 'front door', It's a very busy place, 27,087 visits last year. It needs redecorating --- No money, --- AH BUT ! We'll give you the paint if you want to repaint the place on your rest days ! YEH RIGHT ! My names Hunt not cnut !
So Tony --- BOSS --- tell me --- WHERE'S THE FCUKING MONEY GONE
demoralising or depressing the situation is I can honestly say for once Im glad that the situation is being aimed at the real perpetrator. The government and all those who pull the strings from above. I think that its a sad sad situation the police force is now in. Good people every day don a uniform and get abused. These people i whole heartedly believe do this because they want to help the good people and see justice done - the job can change their opinion of it but still they go out and try their very best IMHO its because they want to be able to look people in the eye and give them some small glimmer of hope that justice will be brought upon others who dont follow the law. We hear lots of sad stories - god knows theres alot of them in this world to be heard but what is failed to be broadcast are the good news stories... the domestics broken up each day, the dealers arrested again, the young lad just before he steals a car... theres no publicity like bad publicity eh.
It gets really disheartening to read all the foul mouthed stories about officers and their failings. Ill not sit here and pretend that i think every officer is god given and superhuman but in my heart of hearts i believe they do it for the right reasons - because they want to see the same as you and i... the nasty stupid wastes of space of this earth brought to justice.
I dont agree with Police stations closing their help desks at a certain time but as usual there is knack all that i or you can do about it. Someone needs to be held accountable for it but as usual i fear the one who needs to account for it is out of reach.
It sounds like a wasteland out there!
Time for a new generation of law enforcer!
he'll do ! He'd fit in well round Camborne, wouldn't be able to tell him from the 3 fingered --- lockuls !
no one doubts
the sincerity of most cops in their wish to do their job properly.
They're being screwed from above, just like we the public are being screwed from above.
My dislike of Blair and Tony's cronies has grown to the point where I think his actions are treasonable.
Treason: a betrayal, breach of allegiance, treachery, disloyalty.
Yep, they all fit.
Strange that all this crime goes unpunished when a lad got arrested after his football hit someones car the other day!
Those figures are actually misleading. Whilst not wanting to defend this Governments attitude towards law and order there are other factors. Budget constraints mean Chief Constables have to make a choice; do they put officers on the streets or pay for support staff to cover front enquiry offices that time has proved get very little by way of enquiries during the quiet hours. Anyone can report a crime at an unstaffed station by picking up the phone outside that will put them directly through to the Control Room. If there is an officer completing paperwork, (with the amount of it there is almost certainly going to be!), the control room will send them down to you. If officers are in and hear a confrontation they will respond to it. Your liust actually contains my own force and I can assure you there is one permantly staffed enquiry office with all others having the facility mentioned.
Is that from madmax II ? great film, one & three were cobblers
Oh My God
Oh my God, last one leaving turn off the lights.
I feel so sorry for you guy's you have all of this going on then your government send out a TOP COPPER too watch the F%*$ing Ashes to keep the Barmy Army in check.
This is true Australia asked for help incase any of the Barmy Army were Football thugs, and the UK sent a TOP COP,Fare Dink,um Ijust cracke dup Laughing. Start a Riot Guys don't put up with this crap.
We have the same problem but not as bad as you, but one trick I did here works , call the 000, emergency number and tell them there is a officer struggeling with two men, then see how many cop cars turn up. Or tell them there is a guy doing wheelies on a Moto cross bike ,and you will get the army as well.
Sorry Guys not only is your Cricket team rooted it looks like you are as well.
Commie fools have ruined the country, it's doomed. Make sure they don't get in over there or they'll do the same thing.
whining!! if we brits wern't such a bunch of pussies we'd get out on the streets and do something about it but we don't we just moan on sites like this! that's why the goverment give us all this sh!t because they know we won't do anything about it so either do something or shut the fu(k up! or take a leaf out the french's book and bring the country to a halt when ever the goverment screw up. but please stop whining!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh dear BIG incoming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well david kelly did and look what happened to him !
fair point mate but come on if we all stood together on these issues we could do something about it. but people just whinge and do fu(k all no wonder the aussies call us whinging poms!!!
Go for it Guy's just start nice and simple 10 bikes side by side riding at 15mph in the middle of London, at Mid day, the place would stop.
Deliver your pettion to Number 10 , then ride off.
If that does nothing do the same thing all around the country at the same time same day.
Its peacful and legal.
lack of police
my car was vandalised 3 times in 2 weeks.................one respray later and a new door, still no police...........roll on a month later they came round to follow up,i honestley just laughed ,told him to get back in his car and go,well at least i got a crime number for the insurance ,ill sleep better at night knowing if anything happened to me at least theyd give me a number.....
Fuck it...I'm off to the pub
made that slow ride system work for them and it only took a day.
But their bikers are all organised into one main powerful action group called (spelling) Societe des Motards en Colere (Angry bikers). Hapless can correct me.
A great number of bikers descended on Paris in the morning rush hour. They formed slow-moving columns on every main road leading into Paris.
The place jammed solid and no one got to work on time. Many gave up and went home.
Same in the evening.
And that's all it took to make the Frog gummint withdraw planned further restrictions on bikes in France.
Same tactic used by lorry drivers here and tractors during fuel crisis.
Worked at first but cops used their powers to book people for obstruction and tickets were flying like confetti.
I still think a mass assembly of bikers would be effective. Would concentrate more individuals; the bikes are more elusive if cops try and nick them; and if they numbered in the thousands it would be hard for cops to act unless they set up road blocks.
They couldn't do this in advance if the planners kept their mouths shut, but some nitwit would probably leak it.
Cops, on political orders from No.10, would set up blocks to surround the mass of bikers so none could get away and they'd all be booked for obstruction.
Freedom of speech? Freedom of assembly?
You gotta be kidding.
One lady, acting on her own, made a peaceful protest at the Cenotaph with a banner.
Over 100 cops in vans arrived to 'control this serious menace to society' and she was hauled off and charged.
If I could, I'd leave, but too old to do it now.
I beg to differ on 'pick up the phone outside' I did the other night but could have grown a beard by the time D&C's control centre answered, Not on, I feel isolated from the police in my area & I suspect a great deal of people do in other areas of UK.
By the way my son's binning GMP, He's had an offer from another force that he's taking up but he's under no illusions !
