After a two year lay-off I'm back on two wheels again and thought I'd better replace my 6 year old AGV X-Vent. After trying a few on I opted for an AGV Stealth, and found one tons cheaper in an eBay shop. It was delivered today, but I notice alhtough it has a Gold ACU Approved sticker it's missing the British Kitemark sticker my old AGV X-Vent has. Is this a problem? Is this lid not ok for use on the roads? Or is there a more simple explanation?!

Helmets no longer have kite marks. It's been replaced by an E mark on the strap.
I was told that as long as the E number begins with a number greater than a five then they are ok.The higher the number the better the helmet.
Can anyone tell me if this is true?
European standard is 20.05 & is often found sewn onto the label on the strap or a sticker on the back.
The large E number often circled denotes the country of origin, e.g. E13 Italy. (I think!) Before anyone asks NO I don't know what the others are!
