hi anyone know what to do my forks are to sttiff for my little weight 8to9 stone even with compression turned right down anyone know what rate springs i need to put in ?

cheers m8 for help but i,ve already tried everything think i got no other alternative but to get softer springs? i was hoping some specialist would say just remove some oil or something in 5mm increments until softer but dont know if u can do this or not
Sounds like you will then,
dropping oil level is only going to affact it nearer end of suspension travel, not at start. Presume compression and rebound adjusters are working ok and not wrecked, also possible forks need service, oilways may be clogged up if it's not been done for a while, you may be best to phone a few suspension specialists, ask advice, see back pages of Trials and Motocross News.
UK KTM forum is also a good source of advice.

i havent got a clue when it comes to suspension (confusing) dunno where i read about dropping oil but good job i wont touch forks otherwise prob would have done it and wrecked em??!!!?? yeah i,ll have to go softer on springs i think as adjusters all ok
Just a thought,
modern motocross and enduro machines are very much built to be ridden with your weight up the front end, attack position, are you keeping elbows up and getting up the front of the seat? might have to drop forks up through yokes a little and turn the bars forward a little too, bars bend should be in same plane as forks, used to be different years back.
many of the ktms can have bar mounts turned around to put bars forward or back too.
try diff oil weight and go a further 5mm on the air gap
you may find that you tighten the wheel wrong and its pulling the forks together, or new bushes
