I took the caravan to Cadwell Park this weekend for the BSB and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. On the Saturday evening two women turned up with an incomplete tent and couldn't get it set up (I wonder why) it was getting dark so being the nice person that I am I LENT them my small tent that I had stored in the caravan and out of the kindness of my heart I even set it up for them. They were happy I did my good deed for the day.I pointed out where I was camping and said return it to me before you leave.Well on the Sunday morning it was still there (I was up early to get a good spot on the start/finish line) so I thought I would leave them to it.Got back after a good days racing to find that not only was my tent not there neither were the two women or their car.So just a bit of a rant to the two women in a blue peugeot 206cc camped next to the toilets and lights in the family area THANKS FOR NOTHING can I have my tent back please.
Lending does not mean giving

Sorry to hear that mate. I've been done more times than I care to consider myself. My grandad gave me some advice on this subject, which was "Never lend what you wouldn't give." He was a wise one, alright.
Hopefully they will get what they deserve and so will you in the fullness of time.
Cracking advice that mate!
I'm sure that everybody here has had similar experiences with cash, DVD's, CD's, Cassettes (back in the day), Lighters, Guitar Picks, phone chargers, computer games...
I remember once lending a lad I knew my old Xbox (original one) because I wasn't arsed about playing it. A few months pass by and I ask if he's completed any games etc...only to be told that he loves it so much and he's doing well with it. About a year later I asked if he's still enjoying the Xbox, same answer...so I asked his missus only to find out he'd sold the fecker!
Nobody understands the concept of a loan anymore.
och that's a bad yin mate, some people eh
Next time you lend anything, ask for a deposit! That way, if you don't get it back, you are not totally out of pocket!
Once at Oulton Park, a security guy asked if he could 'borrow' a torch. We got a £10 deposit off him! He came back about 40 minutes later, very greatful for the loan, and we gave him his money back! " />
I hate spelling errors. You mix up two letters and your whole post is urined.
Coming to think about it....................... I never used to get any of my porn films back either!!!!!
IT's probably not..
the first time they have done that, you will most likley find they frequent car boot sales or have a market stall, did you have to make a booking for the site place then there might be a record of them?
Neither a borrower nor a lender be;
For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.
I am forever losing lighters and guitar picks! Worst is normally money tho! Never get it back. Will lend a fiver then wont ever see it again.
Not surprised they were probably confiscated by the pigs oops! sorry fuzz, oops sorry person who rides a daytona anyways how is said machine?? rgds Robbie
