golf is shite, nearly as bad as curling, ffs they must be brain dead to play that crap.
I go out then watch it later on BBCi player
It streams together and ya dont miss owt then." />
waste of a good walk man
and Crickets just for them that cant be arsed to walk anywhere, wheres the athletism in golf n cricket??????
We don't get proper BBC, but we do get the red button.
When it breaks, between the Moto2 and MotoGP, we switch to Spanish TV, they are so mad for MotoGP, it is on almost constantly from Friday for free practice, until after the last podium.
If it ain't fun, don't do it
Yea, I was lolling into myself thinking "This is gonna cock up the BBCs sheduling" then got the "Sorry, this is only continuing on BBC England and Red Button" - i was like OMGWTF!?!?!?! U C*NTS, U WANTED THIS COVERAGE U B******S...
How do I go about finding the spanish channels?
At the risk
of repeating what has been said, why not watch the lot on BBC Iplayer?
You`ve all got computers, obviously, so whats the problem?
We`re in the fortunate position, unlike football, where we dont get to know the results on the news so we can watch the moto2 the 125`s and MotoGP anytime to suit us! Although it did (unusually) get a mench on the 10-00 news last night. (cos of Rossi`s return).
I think people these days dont know when they`re well off.
When I was a young`un you had to get off yer arse and TRAVEL to see bike racing.
Also, Charlie Cox`s comment "he`s busier than a one armed paper hanger" made me laugh. Cant remember who he was talking about tho.
Agree about the golf. That is NOT good telly.
Sheff, you dont like cricket.....are you really a yorkshireman?
just back from sachsenring and bit of tour round czech republic and bavaria so now time to see what actually happened in the races on sunday.
to be honest eurosports coverage of germany was pretty terrible for the race, 2 ad breaks and no podium pissed me off. (and im a huge fan of eurosports)
But its Dorna's fault for no live coverage on eurosports not the BBC.
that **cheekymonkey is spot on, we do have it pretty good.. with BSB,GP,WSB, WSS.. and a subscription to eurosport and easy access to i-player it's never been easier and i love it.
Gotta say tho that the MotoGP commentaruy on the BBC is a fair reflection of the racing... decidedly dull and drab!!
MOTO2 RULES THE WORLD!!!!! **
also think they should change some of the phrases that have been programmed into the Parrish-o-bot....
Blah blah... contact patch the size of a credit card... blah blah blah... rider uses his weight as ballast... blah blah.... you can hear the traction control cutting in.... blah blah blah........ Charlie.. stop talking like a c*nt....!!!! (The one thing he SHOULD say)
Fair comment about Stavros. But I think we on here have to remember that the BBC is trying to cater for a broader base of non bike fans, as well as us, who stumble upon the race on telly a Sunday. I think the two of them do that really well. Yes its repetitive, but if you want a more informed and deeper commentry then Eurosport is probably where you should be.
I`m no football fan, but during the World Cup I decided to give it a go. It pissed me off when the commentators assumed that everyone knew the technicalities of the game. In fact I stopped watching because I realised I didn`t know much about a game I thought was pretty straight forward. Lets face it its not as technical as bike racing surely!
I think we just have to be reasonable.
Gee, I`m such a nice guy!!!
yerself a big firm pat on the back our kid!! (from all of us)
I watch the 125 and MOTO 2 races live on Eurosport, then switch it off, and watch the GP a couple of hours later on Eurosport...........If you avoid the media for those 2 hours, It's as good as watching it live anyway !!!
