and sv650s are quite low saying that my 5ft4" girlfriend can just tip to to touch the ground on my hornet but could probs lower seat to sort that.
they are both bikes i have considered.
my sister in law has Hornet and she same size as me
My first big bike was a cbr600fx its a really forgiving bike easy to ride and very comfy. Also if you can get the money together for a pair of Daytona lady star gtx bike boots.the give you about a 3inch lift,i wish id have bought some years ago.they are expensive but sooooo worth it." />
No one is innocent but some are more guilty than others,,
What sort of budget have you got to play with?
havent thought about that
I have not thought abou pricet but im not rich so prob not much more than 5-6 grand.
sell you my sv
for £1200 ono....
Have you got pic of it?
Thumbs up for the SV650, they are the best bikes for newbies. The V-twin engine is mounted inside of the frame so the weight of the engine is carried low compared to in line 4s, like CBRs/Fazer/Bandits. V twins don't need to be revved to move along at a fair lick.
I would suggest starting with a naked version as they have a more upright riding position, plus bikes from 03 (known as pointy) they have swap out plug and play factory 33bhp ECUs. You're looking at £2000 for an 2003/2004 model, in fact I just sld both mine and my wife's (5'-7' newbie who passed her Direct Access, didn't get on with her lowered CBR but loved her SV.
