yes it is...so its take the carbs off and clean through? or is there something you can put through the top after takings diaphrams off?
Thanks very much
Remove carbs, strip carbs and layout all components on an old sheet in the order you take them off, don't strip all four at once use two as a reference.
Now carefully remove all debris from the carbs and it's components, use brushes and compressed air where possible, DO NOT poke the jets with bits of wire this will damage them.
Lengths of wound up cotton have worked for me in the past.
Now reassemble, a manual would be an advantage if your budget allows, if not search the web.
Otherwise place a post on the ASK AN EXPERT TECHNICAL board and see if KCMC can find you a link to an online manual he's good like that if you ask nicely.
Hope that helps.
assumption is the mother of all f*** ups.
Thats great i'll have a bash at that tomorrow. thanks for the advice.much appreciated.
I`m playing with a Honda gv100 carb, throttle butterfly was seized fully open, main jet/slow running passages blocked, needle valve stuck in its housing, varnish and rust about.I`m thinking the governor is not working, also i reckon this mower has been laid up for years with fuel in it.
Hope yours are in better condition paul.
