My vmax will soon need new clutch plates. The EBC set is £84.70,the Barnett set is £109.95.Are the Barnetts worth the extra cash?Has anyone noticed an improvement after fitting these plates?Cheers,Mick.

do you get the springs with the ebc for that price???
i think you get the springs with the barnett kit
Prices are for friction plates only.I've only looked on ebay so far,so i might get cheaper when i search properly.
Don't know where you are based but there are a few solutions to the slipping clutch of a Vmax. I know you are enquiring about plates but the real solution is to replace the diaphragm spirng with a Barnett setup which is a multispring cover plate, cost about £130 other solutions can be found on the EXACTREP website Coventry , service is excellent and if 'H' don't know about it then we are all in trouble.
Another V max specialist is Larry at PDQ Taplow
assumption is the mother of all f*** ups.
Thanks for the info. The clutch is not slipping as yet,but the biting point is towards the end of the lever travel so i think it will be spending time soon.
