The London 2012 Olympic torch relay is scheduled to travel from Glasgow to Inverness on its 22nd day in Britain with an evening celebration held in Northern Meeting Park, Inverness. The evening celebration is expected to feature live entertainment and sports in a free ticketed event which several thousand people are expected to attend. The relay will leave Glasgow from Glasgow Riverside Museum, travelling to Bearsden, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Luss, Tarbet, Crianlarich, Tyndrum, Glencoe, North Ballachulish, Fort William, Spean Bridge then Fort Augustus, Invermoriston, Lewiston, Drumnadrochit then Inverness. The relay will begin at 07:03, arriving in Luss for around 09:55, Tyndrum at 11:35, Fort William at 13:29, and Fort Augustus at 16:13, expected to arrive in Inverness for the evening celebration at 18:11, expected to continue until around 20:30.
