hi my gpz 500 is flooding in the carbs when u turn fuel off runs ok runs ok at higher revs took petrol tap off filter ok in line filter fitted also carbs were stripped and cleaned recently is it possible more dirt could be in a jet tried draining carbs and tapping to see if float stuck no joy thought in line filter stopped dirt going in thans for an advice

is caused when the needle valve/s is/are not shutting of the fuel when the level is reached in the float bowls.
The floats if floating should do this providing the needle valves and seats are clean.
An inline filter between the tap and carbs is recommended.
Does your fuel tap have a diaphragm in it?
