The joint between the left oil hose and radiator on my 1996 Bandit 600 is still leaking oil even after I've replaced the o-ring. There is slight damage to the edge of the circular groove, probably been done by someone prising out an o-ring clumsily years ago. Any ideas how to stop it?

Always handy try Bossil BLACK RTV 100% silicone gasket maker. You could fill the groove then press the o-ring in and fit with the bolts finger tight, after an hour fully tighten but never over tighten.
Also check your engine breather pipe.
Exactly as Jaffa says!
Thanks - will try it.
just tried the sealant again on another job and found it took hours to skin over.
to a breakers a buy another one for a few quid?
The RTV sealant worked. Three weeks and 150-odd miles later there is the slightest trace of oil coming down the front bolt thread, but not even enough to leave a trace blown on to the downpipe (it was baking on it before - right ugly). Thanks Jaffa90.
I did think of that KCMC, but problem may have been on the top face, even though it looked ok it may have been warped or had a tiny crack. The RTV has all but solved it, whatever the cause was, so happy. Thanks, though.
