didn't want to post on here but a few of you might have some good advice.
Got to pick a bike up Saturday from Kent, the guy says he has to pick it up from his mates house, but has also asked that we accompany him to the bank and pay the cash in to his account as he is weary of having dodgy notes.
After the debacle we are still having with the log book for the other one, we don't want to be put in another dodgy position.
We are picking the bike up in the van as we didn't want to get it insured in case it's not up to the spec described (this has happened before)
If the bank is not near any parking bays what is the safest form of action as in shall we keep the keys and log book just in case this is a scam, or what is the best way of doing the deal.
We have asked him if he can bring proof off address comfirming that the log book is the same as on ID
