**Probably the last **
run of the year for us .....
Afternoon blast up to Crieff.... we had to be back before dark at 4:30 ..before the temps really fell ..and because Garry has no lights! " />
Very few bikes out today on the roads..
.... our intrepid band ...
nah I didnt go out today..opted for F1 and a few beers!
**Roads were quite 'greasy' **
..and my track day 'Power One's' were probably not the best tires to be on...... had a couple of 'moments' with the rear spinning up exiting bends..... buttocks clenched and having to be oh so gentle with that right wrist ..
Didn't take many pics ..
..it was too cold to ride gloveless for any 'on board' shots and I didn't want to get the camera covered in wet grime.
Graeme and Gary's bikes at our lunch stop (mmm hot bacon butties )...
My first stop when I got home was the 'Jet Wash' unsurprisingly." />
You weren't alone.... probably only saw about five other bikes out all afternoon.
I wondered how you got on today. Last night I was thinking I might regret not going out, but by this afternoon I was happy with my choice!
Good on you for getting out though, and it's nice to look at the pics from the warmth of my house!
BTW, there was snow on the hills yesterday too. I was down near Abington (M74 visible in first pic) and it turned out to be a gorgeous day " />
is right.White with frost down here this morning and stayed cold and misty most of day. It was even hard to get out of car today and leave the comfort of the heater.
Kindle not a fire that you cannot extinguish.
Hats off Kam
was dodgy in the car this morning, as in f**king slippy. But a glorious mid morning and early afternoon
Yes, unfortunately the weather forecast didn't hold from last night .. I was expecting it to be cold ...but I wasn't expecting to wake up to soaking conditions ..and with temps this low it just never dries out.
Still, it was good to get out as I doubt there will be any more now till next March (I really hope I am wrong and that next Sunday will be warmer and dry ) .
Looks like you had a great day yesterday hillwalking up in the snow (nice pics btw). Yesterday was definately the nicer day with some sunny bright spells (we got out cycling )
See you at the next 'breakie' meet.
brrrrrrr..... Is right...I'm still thawing out!
and it's only early November! ....
.. Just 5 month's to go to spring." />
Yeah it was pretty slippy out there ...although fun, I was kinda glad to get home without 'incident'.......'can't afford to bin yet another bike so soon (My insurance would be horrendous! ) .
nah i didnt go out to but went out last night ( small journey bloody cold ) then i tryed put in the wintermode on the datatool alarm went horrible wrong, couldnt shut the dam alarm off ( this were 1am as well ) anyway managed to do it after my trip today to a model railway exhibition ( one off my hobbies for winter ) i think that me done this year on bike, looking at all the dirty on your bike kam makes me cringe and tires on Daytona are frightening when it gets a bit slippy
A quick stop at the Jet Wash on the way home removed then worst of the crud. I'll leave the rest till another day.
But, like yourself, I think that's me done for this year too.......
.....damn! - I hate winters!
