'i own a triumph speedtriple 1050 that i would like to fit a low level road legal slip on silencer .the manufacturers of said pipes claim that these are road legal when fitted with a removable baffle in situ.should these pipes also carry a stamp to varify this should i get stopped by he police?i have also been told that fitting one of these silencers especially with the baffle in place can cause damage to the engine by restricting exhaust gas flow and so causing the engine to run to hot,is this true?many thanks keith' in Bike accessories

Triumph Speedtriple 1050 what year?
Hi Keith and welcome to the site
(what make is the _said _slip on? )
I see you you wrote Keith in bike accessories, does this mean you work in a bike shop?or somewhere were you have accesses to after market kit?just seems odd you asking these questions if you do?.Most after market slip on cans are a lot more free flowing (even with a baffle fitted) than standard kit,as for the a stamp on it i wouldn't know, but if you do work in the industry i suggest ask a mate you work with?Good Luck

It's a Mivv or a Werkes GP . No I don't work in Bike Accessories - I'm not in the motorcycle trade at all.
