a belt drive ? i have from time to time , i hate the full chain care routine especially through the winter , however just read the bit on the new Beemer f800GT and it advises change belt at 24k at a cost of £600 !! i do around 8k a year so every 3 years im looking at £600 bill even if i changed my chain once a year i wouldnt go over £300 . so dont think i want to be going down that route

scottoiler on bandit, zzr needs new chain and sprockets, will be fitting a scottoiler on her as well, like all things, scottoilers need maintenance..
chain is nearing its end after 10k in all weathers. The grit has really mangled it.
mine was the same , chain had loads of adjustment but the salt had got in and seized a couple of links this year so it had to be replaced , i have a chain oiler on but it doesnt appear to have done much good
I miss belt drive.
I have a Scottoiler on the Triumph but in this weather I use chain lube as well, rather than fiddle with the adjustment.
Belt drive needed a quick look over before starting up each morning (or not, if you're too lazy). Job done.

beacon, have a look at a pd oiler makes the scott look complex. i have one of each and would buy another pd if i get another chain drive bike
Chains are a pain
but with a paddock stand, it makes the whole cleaning/adjusting malarky a lot less hassle! £50 for a stand. £10 for the bobbins!
