I'm running a '12 Monster 796 with Arrow Blackline after market slip-ons [no baffles]. It runs lean at first but is OK once warmed up. What effect will the new E10 petrol have?

For a start you`re taking a big risk running on a weaker mixture on an air cooled engine, the standard mixture is weak enough to start with on Euro 3 emissions.
Ethanol absorbs water and will lay at the bottom of the tank causing rust,it causes poor performance and less m.p.g.
The E5 has caused enough problems in fuel pipes/taps and carbs in older bikes and fuel pumps.
I suggest you use super unleaded/ethanol free fuel and not run on a weak mixture because the engine will suffer if not already.
