Thought I'd drop a quick note to introduce myself. I'm a vintage rider from the US, currently riding a '64 Panhead. When I'm not riding or wrenching, I spend my spare time putting together articles for Riding Vintage. I cover a wide range of topics, so stop by and check it out. I'll try to post a link on here when I put together something that I think will be interesting to the group. I find that most bikers enjoy a bit of history from time to time and Riding Vintage fills that niche. I'm also always on the lookout for ideas for articles, so if you have some old photos and some great stories, just let me know.

Thought you were just a spammer at first, but seems like a decent blog you got there. Not too many panhead fans on this site (UK is rice rocket territory), but we can all appreciate a bit of history and oddities from years gone by.
Welcome to MCN fella.
There are a couple of UK organisations that cater for vintage motorcycles and these are the VMCC (vintage motorcycle club - www.vmcc.net) and to a lesser extent the classic racing motorcycle club (www.crmc.co.uk).
There is also a vintage japanese motorcycle club (VJMC) however they tend to cater for Japanese bikes from the early 1980's and onwards.
The VMCC do hold quite a few meets each year including international rallies (normally within Europe)
There's also a few publications in the UK that cater for classic and vintage bikes. For example, Classic motorcycle magazine, Classic bike magazine and classic motorcycle mechanics magazine.
