I have no doubt
there'll be an official "national security" reason for it. And who are we to dispute it.
Like the plane escorted to Stansted a couple of years a go. The media assured us it was accompanied by fighter jets all the time it was in UK air space. Meanwhile, and entirely co-incidentally, a similar aircraft was circling aimlessly over the A1 about 20 miles away. Accompanying fighter jets were so well hidden no-one could see or hear them!
Twas only Preunit testing his "Tango Typhoon"...." />" />
We had this in Plymouth a few years ago
it turned out to be a meteorite breaking the sound barrier as it came down. Splashed down near the Eddystone lighthouse.
"Jets from RAF Coningsby were scrambled last month to escort a passenger plane over the UK.
The airliner from Pakistan, heading to Manchester, was diverted to Stansted and two men on board arrested by Essex Police. The BBC understands the incident was not terror-related."
I saw that!! I was out on me bike and noticed a passenger plane being 'tailed' by a jet. It then made a sharp turn and disappeared into the clouds.. I'd forgotten about it till I read this story.I knew it looked dodgy......
Thought I was seeing things.....

You do right. 'Mardy sauce' is for the more refined palette.
I'm actually very proud of you, that you know your place.
A more suitable alternative, and its in capitals and bold, so easy to spot.
A classic, but not an original
