Hi all, sorry but time for a moan as I live in Wales, there has been a lot of visitors on bikes here this year with the weather being good and a majority are pretty well behaved but some coming here are just here to tear around like idiots, saw a ZX9 and a gsxr recently riding like morons with number plates blanked out and plenty of other people riding like idiots, it causes problems with the non biking locals for us with bikes and also brings the law here in large numbers, most must know about how the police are treating bikers in north Wales I guess and part of the reason for that must be the idiots coming here to tear around with no regard for those that live here, most people living here are happy to have all the bikes visiting here and most are pretty good but every year a few crash and kill themselves and a few ride like t*^%s while here, so if you are visiting please think about how you ride and think about how it affects the locals and the reputation of bikers, there are places to have fun on the roads here but in towns and heavy traffic and coming with obscured number plates with the sole intention of tearing around is not helping biking or bikers, thanks all

all of them
better places to be than Wales
The rules must be different in Wales. Don't they have full stops or capital letters?
If it ain't fun, don't do it
they rode sheep in Wales." />
I know, it's bad but I thought I'd get it in before anyone else.
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Abergavenny to Llandovery..cracking road..if not a little heavy going in traffic. Even call in my folks for a cuppa, or will be as zzr nearly ready..250 miles nowt for her one way!
I see what you're saying,
although it was hard work, reading it. (See what I did there?)
I guess we're a bit luckier here. It's a very popular tourist area but there are lots of meeting places where anyone who wants to behave badly can do so, with very little intererence from the Police. They do show up, but usually there's a slow drive past first and if you carry on after that then you risk being pulled over. Fair enough.Speeding very often gets you a telling off, if you behave politely, same with anything high spirited. Downright dangerous? No way you'll get away with that. Rightly so.
The locals tend to view motorcyclists as wallets on wheels. Very useful source of income. Of course there are those who hate every one of us and would like to see us disappear.
Don't go to Wales. Come down to Kent and give us all your money
Try to be a sparkly unicorn, not a miserable cow.
Are you serious??????
Ive never heard anything like it at all?!?!?!?!
Lets be honest, there are 'idiots' everywhere, so keep your localised issues to yourself. I ride through Wales, and yes sometimes I ride 'making progress'
Bizzarely, I do the same wherever I ride, so please rest assured, we are not all, as my colleague mentioned "tarred from the same brush"....
Now go find a nice little lamb.....
To be honest...
....I live in Wales and ride the roads mentioned in the posts most weekends, not really sure what this guy is on about? we all ride to our abilities and if that's quick or slow......so be it! Come and enjoy, the more the merrier.
