Large Retailers spend £ billions on marketing and advertising....trying to convince us that we are actually getting a "Bargain"........ Do any of you actually believe it ??......... Personally I'm sick to death of the whole thing......bog off....innit

Yes, I believe in half price sales ..but I can't believe it's not butter.
A Large competitor of ours quoted a Bosch Oven at £386 with 68% off......... we quoted £324 ......... normal price...... They were actually saying that the oven was @ £1200...reduced down to £386..............our customer Thought that she actually had a bargain........ even though we were £62 cheaper....WTF.
I can flyyyyyyyy!! " />
have to read the small print to see its bullshit..(higher price charged for 5 minutes in our Hebrides store) Generally try to avoid Currys PC world et al if at all possible as their customer service is terrible. !
you can't believe it's not butter? If you had butter then you can't believe it's not butter would be 'I can maybe believe it's not butter but it has a buttery type of butter taste so i'm still not believing it's not butter '
Barney, Thats nowt....I can touch the sky
How beautiful it is to be silent when some think you should be enraged.
Are you actually Alice Horton (née Tinker)?
I think about it every night and day. Do you see yourself spreading your wings and flying away? 'Cause I do " />
Yes i do
Believe sales, i also believe in fairies, father Christmas, the loch ness monster, and that all politicians are thinking only for the good of the people." />
PS. was going to put Lep-re-corns also but couldn't spell it.
And to quote ELO...
I've got a ticket to the moon!!! Beats you lot, got it free when I bought a Dyson vacuum!!
Half price sales
Well, spent most of my working life in textiles, when we had some. Now most are made in Chinese/Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi sweat shops. So half price clothing sales are still a rip off when you know what the actual cost is.
Those £700 jeans that the latest celeb wears that sheep buy, probably cost £1 to make.
