just flown over.......always makes me jump out of my seat to look, beautiful beast, lovely roar. Apparently the only other air worthy Lanc is being flown over from Canada ( !! ) later in the year, looking forward to catching those two together....

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows always bring a proper tear to my eye, it's embarrassing. I think it's the combination of the power, the grace and the Britishness. In the case of the Red Arrows, I'll watch any aerobatic team and be hugely impressed, but then the Reds rock up and there is something about the performance which puts them in a class above the rest.
