So finally after getting the leaks and so on sorted I got a decent ride out on the supermoto. Around the beautifully scenic, twisty and hilly Torr Road on the Antrim coast
Out Yesterday on the KTM

Hey Barney.......what side of the road do
People usually drive on ........round them parts.....
Only kidding .........looks like a lovely place to ride.
Sometimes we ride on the right when we suspect there will be someone coming round the corner on the wrong side of the road. It's much safer that way!
Cheers, it is a cracking road for the SM. Like commentators at Laguna Seca like to remind you every five minutes about the "Corkscrew," the camera doesn't do it justice.
Now that, is a nice sounding growly engine!
It certainly is, and also quite deceptive. Sometimes in that video you'd imagine with the low down growl coming from it that I'm only doing about 30mph, but the odd glimpse at the speedo reveals the true speed to be about twice that!
I must admit, I'm slowly falling in love with the KTM's! When I get my DAS done in the spring, I'm already considering a 690 Duke.
From what I've heard they're a great bike
Definitely not a super bike type of road
Bloody hell very narrow roads there ! This where great bikes like the Ktm are the ones to buy enough fun at half the speed and that's where I wanna go .
my 690sm Barney its like riding a mountain bike!" /> Nice video
There are a few good supermoto roads near me but I have to say this one is damn near perfect! The scenery definitely plays a part in that too
And yeah that's a fair assessment, it's not particularly a superbike type of road.
Yeah, and my 640 has a comfy seat on it too! " />
Thanks, I'll be uploading more of the same
