i already have 3 points for speeding (35 in a 3o zone) and have been caught again(57 in a 40 zone) and because i have only had a full licence for less than 2 years i am led to believe i will have my licence revoked. is this true

Oh dear,tis true.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you will have your licence revoked. My nephew has just been through the same scenario and they threw the book at him and then some. His licence was revoked so he has to start from scratch, apply for a provisional and go through the whole test again. AND, when he passes his test and gets his full license back it will STILL have six points on it. Brutal!!
My strongly advise you to take a lawyer with you when you go to court. It will cost but you may avoid the severe treatment my nephew suffered. (Being only 17 and having not been in any trouble, he was so intimidated by the whole court experience that he bottled it and did not make any case/plea for leniency) A lawer may help. For example you might get a ban instead of having you licence revoked. At least with a ban you don't have to re-test and you won't have the points. (The rules say it's a ban or points - not both!)
thats harsh getting the points for 35 in a 30! a lot of forces will have
a 10% + 2mph, which would mean you wouldnt get a ticket until 36mph in a
30. In which area was that?
Can count yourself very unlucky!
It's 2 years from passing your first test.
As the above poster
says, it's 2 years from the date of passing your first test.
So if you have already passed your car test more than 2 years ago, you are safe from losing your licence due to the 6 points in the first two years rule.
If the bike test was your first test and you passed less than 2 years ago, unfortunately it means your licence is taken away and you have to start again on a provisional and do the full theory, hazard perception, Mod1 then Mod2.
